Hangar 22 Coffee Roasters is proud to be collaborating with pilots Erin and Paul on our specialty coffee Beyond the Runway®.
Beyond the Runway® is named after Erin and Paul’s drive to fuel adventure through aviation. Their Bearhawk 5, a freshly finished airplane that just took its first flight, is the beginning of a dream years in the making: turning it into a flying camper to explore all 50 states.

$1 from each bag will be donated to Wings of Hope, a humanitarian aviation nonprofit that uses airplanes to connect people with the care and resources they need. In the U.S., they fly individuals to life-saving medical appointments through their Medical Relief & Air Transport (MAT) Program. Internationally, they support partners in nine countries who provide health care and community development services in remote areas.
Every bag is made with passion - all roasting, labeling, packaging and designing is done in house.

FAQ
Roasting Schedule
All coffee orders are freshly roasted to order and we strive to ship within 7 business days. If we are attending an event or there is a holiday, shipping may be delayed by a day or two.
Can you pre-grind coffee for my order?
We recommend whole bean coffees because it helps maintain freshness, and we believe great coffees are at their best when brewed within 30 minutes of grinding. However, we will grind your coffee should you choose by letting us know which brewing you are using when you add a bag to your cart.
Shipping
Fast shipping
At checkout you will have the option of choosing how fast you would like to receive your coffee order. Should no option be fast enough, please reach out to us as we can look into a faster shipping option for you.
Order tracking
A tracking number will be provided to you via email at time of order fulfillment. Should there be any issues during transit with your order, we will investigate and resolve accordingly.

About us
About our Roaster
At the age of four, Thomas discovered his passion for aviation after taking his first flight in a Boeing 767. He began roasting coffee and flying airplanes at the age of 15. In 2020, alongside working in aviation, he began roasting coffee inside Hangar 22 at CNY3 and turned his love for roasting coffee into what is now known as Hangar 22 Coffee Roasters. After growing his roots in corporate aviation, Thomas now flies as an airline pilot on the Boeing 737.

Giving Back
We are proud to continuously find new and innovative ways to give back to the aviation community with the growth of Hangar 22 Coffee. One of the ways we did this in 2024 was by donating $50,000 worth of coffee to all EAA Volunteers of AirVenture and will do so again in 2025.
